Services

Electrical services for homes and businesses.

Installation, repair and maintenance across Medford and Greater Boston.

01

Troubleshooting & repairs

Dead outlets, tripping breakers, flickering lights and faulty wiring, traced to the cause and fixed.

Most electrical problems are a symptom: a breaker that trips because a circuit is overloaded, an outlet that died because a connection upstream burned loose, lights that flicker because a neutral is failing. We test until we find the actual cause, explain it in plain words, and fix that.

  • Tripping breakers and blown fuses
  • Dead outlets and switches
  • Flickering or dimming lights
  • Faulty and damaged wiring
  • Warm outlets, buzzing and burning smells

02

Panels & service upgrades

Panel replacements, breaker work, fuse box changeovers and more capacity for the way you live now.

Plenty of Greater Boston houses still run on 60- or 100-amp services, fuse boxes or panels that are simply full. We replace and upgrade panels, add circuits properly instead of doubling them up, and coordinate the disconnect and reconnect with the utility when the service itself changes.

  • Panel replacement and upgrades
  • Fuse box to breaker panel
  • Circuit breaker repair and replacement
  • Subpanels for additions, basements and garages
  • Labeled, tidy panel work

Lighting installation

Recessed lights, fixtures, chandeliers, ceiling fans and commercial lighting, installed clean.

From a chandelier in a front hall to a full ceiling of recessed lights in a renovated kitchen, lighting is where good electrical work shows. We plan the layout, the switching and the dimming with you, cut cleanly, and leave the ceiling and the room the way we found them.

  • Recessed lighting
  • Chandeliers and fixtures
  • Ceiling fans and bath fans
  • Dimmers, switches and outlets
  • Commercial and retail lighting

Dedicated circuits & EV chargers

Home EV chargers and dedicated circuits for kitchens, laundry, heat pumps, mini-splits and equipment.

New appliances want their own circuits. We run dedicated lines for ranges, dryers, microwaves, freezers, heat pumps and mini-splits, and install Level 2 EV chargers sized to what your panel can actually carry, with a load check first.

  • Kitchen and laundry circuits
  • Heat pump and mini-split circuits
  • Workshop and equipment circuits
  • Load checks before new circuits go in

Renovations & new wiring

Kitchens, baths, basements and whole-floor renovations wired to the current Massachusetts code.

Renovations are where old wiring gets found. We work alongside your contractor or directly for you: roughing in new circuits, replacing tired cable while the walls are open, protecting floors and finishes, and getting the work inspected by your town’s wiring inspector.

  • Kitchen and bathroom remodels
  • Basement and attic finishes
  • Rewiring while walls are open
  • Knob-and-tube and old cable replacement
  • Permits and inspections

Commercial electrical

Offices, retail stores and commercial spaces: panelboards, lighting controls, fit-outs and repairs.

Our own job photos run from residential panels to commercial panelboards and rooms full of lighting controls. For offices and retail stores we handle fit-outs, lighting, dedicated circuits, panel work and the repairs that can’t wait until the weekend.

Generators & maintenance

Generator installation and repair, plus testing and maintenance that catches problems early.

Nor’easters and ice storms take the power out. We install and repair generators and the safe connections that go with them, and we assess and test electrical systems so small problems get fixed before they turn into outages, damage or a call in the middle of a storm.

  • Generator repair
  • Safe transfer connections (never backfeeding)
  • Electrical system testing
  • Maintenance visits for homes and businesses

Sparks, smoke, a hot panel or a burning smell? Turn off the breaker or the main if you can do it safely, then call. If there’s fire or smoke, get out and call 911. Stay clear of downed lines and call your utility.

Never attempt panel, service, feeder or new-circuit work yourself. In Massachusetts those jobs belong to a licensed electrician, with a permit.
